Q1 : I am very familiar with TBI - Being a Marine I have a number of my Marines and friends who have suffered with TBI. I am also aware it is not just a military issue. Our kids can suffer TBI as a result of abuse, sports and accidents.

Q2: Yes, As mentioned I do know a number of people who have sustained a TBI.

Q3: Early identification of TBI is paramount to getting treatment as fast as possible. Training could be done for teachers and parents to help them identify the effects of TBI and get the medical treatment necessary for diagnosis sooner rather than later.

Question 4: I have not seen the information but assuming it is informative and could help train our legislatures, teachers and families about TBI. The more informed we are the better we can make decisions related to peoples treatment.

Q5: Of course students with TBI would benefit more when teachers are trained on TBI.

Q6: I would work with superintendents to insure they are aware of the symptoms of TBI and encourage/point them to training on TBI. I would also look at current legislation and see what could be done to help.

Q7: I would be supportive of training for TBI.
