Thank you for reaching out to me. After reading your letter, I was surprised by the number of people afflicted withTBI. Please correct me if there is a better way to describe TBI. I applaud you in your effort to bring awareness to your situation. Many voices together definitely garner more attention. To answer your first question. I am aware of TBI. I do know two people that have been afflicted. One is the daughter of a neighbor. Kim, she was a school teacher until her accident. The other is the sister of my wife's best friend. Karen was in college when she, too, was in an auto accident. Your second question. To be honest I am not aware of any programs specifically for TBI. What I can do is, hopefully, and after I am elected, I would like to meet with you to see what I can do to help. Then we need to formulate a plan moving forward.
